Volunteer Hour Requirements for the 2026 Spring Season

Lincoln Little League is powered by our families. To ensure our players have a safe, fun, and well-supported environment, families are required to complete a total of 6 volunteer hours per player for the season.

To keep our facilities running and our game days smooth, these hours are split into two specific categories:

1. The Snack Bar Commitment (4 Hours)

The snack bar is our primary fundraising source, which keeps registration costs down and helps maintain our fields.

  • Requirement: 4 hours per player.

  • Roles: Serving customers, preparing food, barbecuing, assisting with setup/cleanup during scheduled game times and more.

  • Locations: Shifts are available at the McBean Park, Peter Singer (Lincoln Crossing) and 12 Bridges Park snack bars.

2. General League Support (2 Hours)

The remaining time can be spent supporting the broader needs of the league throughout the season.

  • Requirement: 2 hours per player.

  • Qualifying Activities:

    • Field Maintenance: Pre-season "Field Work Days" or assisting with field prep before games.

    • Event Support: Assisting with Opening Day ceremonies, tournaments, or other league events.

    • Scorekeeping: Serving as the official scorekeeper or pitch counter for your player's team (if not an exempt coach).

    • Other: Umpiring, game coordinator, and scoreboard.

Important Notes

  • Exemptions: If you are an Official Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Parent, your season-long dedication fulfills your 6-hour requirement for one player.

  • Tracking: Please ensure you sign in for every shift. Hours are tracked through our league management portal to ensure all families have met their commitment by the end of the tournament season.
